Ice Arena

Mid-Coast Recreation Center, Inc. is proud to present our state of the art Arena. The NHL regulation sized rink is complemented by five spacious locker rooms and two referee changing rooms. The ice rink can seat 400 in the bleachers with room for another 300 standing. With the flip of a switch, the 48 energy efficient fluorescent lights can go from a dimmed setting for practice events to bright lights for games and special events. Though only seasonal, the concrete slab beneath the ice can be used for special events and shows in the off season. The ice rink is in operation September through March.

The Arena is also available for Public Skating and private events: Birthday Parties and Corporate and Group Bookings

The Arena at MRC is available for private contract. If you and your group or family would like exclusive rights to the arena you can contract the time all to yourself based on availability. Certain restrictions do apply.
Cost: $215.00 per hour for ice rental September through March
Cost: $80 per hour or $900 per day; additional fees for staffing or equipment may apply for arena rental April through August
